CESR in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery - a BOA one day course

The BOA is pleased to announce a second one day course for those considering an application for Specialist Registration with the GMC through the CESR (Article 14) route.

The course is to be convened by Mr David Limb, who is Chairman of the BOA Education Committee. He is also a member of the SAC CESR panel and an Examiner for the FRCS(Tr&Orth), being leader of the written paper committee.

Expert faculty from the following committees will contribute.

• The FRCS(Tr&Orth) Examination Board

• The SAC

• The CESR applications panel of the SAC

• The GMC

The course is intended to provide information on the evidence required by the GMC to support applications for specialist registration via the CESR route. It may therefore help in a decision to apply or not, and will help those who apply to put forward applications of the best quality they can achieve. Unfortunately individual applications cannot be considered and specific feedback on previous applications will be outside the scope of this event.

Closing date for registration: Friday 4 November
