The 4^th annual Orthopaedic/Microbiology joint meeting will again be held in Sheffield. This 2 day meeting will be on the 10^th and 11^th of November at the Sheffield Hilton Hotel.

This year the topics will include upper limb infections, including skin and soft tissue, prosthetic joint infections of the upper limb and new treatment options for Dupuytrens.  Day two will focus more on lower limb arthroplasty, bone cement antibiotics and a session on biofilms and low virulence organisms.

UK National Survey of Osteoporosis Care for Patients with Fragility Fracture

The aim of this survey is to assess the quality and logistics of provision of care for patients with osteoporosis suffering fragility fractures. We feel our findings will provide insight into what measures are currently in place in the UK in managing such challenging patients.
